Hopefully someone can help me with this. I have a boston fern - Its HUGE - and very happy. Today while watering it I noticed that one (only one) of the frawns has brownish dots on almost all of the leafs, its very uniform looking - is this a type of disease? Any ideas would be appreciated.

No ,it is not a disease. They are spores, and part of the plant. No need to worry. smile

Just for a little more information... Spores are the reproductive cell of ferns, fungi and mosses (these plants do not produce seeds) smile
