Tamara--I hope the snow does hold off, but I have my doubts. Good morning, Tina. and please keep your rains ok?/ as it is I hear we will have a very wet summer, and possible flooding. My back & arm are not ready for the weeding that would be needed in weather such as we had years back. The weeds were so bad my cousin's DH finally gave up & mowed their garden down. looked just like grass there, when he was done. And we are talking about a farmern here born & raised. I guess I will have to cover all of mine in dead grass this year, whether or not the back is ready huh???

boy, isnt that the truth. I just made a mistake. I told Rod I had just reached 20,000 posts. was not awake enough to be thinking clearly---I am sure now he figures I spend too much time here for sure--- Tina, I just realized....do you usually get up so early??? Or is it "feed the fires" time ??

yea, well, I think I am caught up in that department. I may have to find something to clean today. In a normal time, I would be going shopping (grocery, etc) today, as it is payday. I guess I will work on the papers I need to file in here. DH & I have been cleaning out our business files lately.

My ears were burning earlier this morning, and I see that Carol wrote about me here today. We are definitely having the storm of the year as they predicted correctly for a change. So far we have about 17 new inches of snow, and it's still going strong. Our driveway has been plowed 3 times for this storm already, to the tune of $80 or $100 depending on whether the guy considers today part of yesterday's storm as well. He charges $40 the first time out and then $20 the next time if it's the same storm. Sheeeesh! Right after he came today, Don had to go out and help Brian dig out of the pool parking lot. You see... my grown son thought it would be fun to go to that parking lot and have "fun" with his car. He got stuck in it right away and called home for help because he neglected to take a shovel! Even though the driveway had just been plowed, Don could not get his car up the hill, so he had to throw some builder's sand down for grip. He fell on his way back down the driveway - fortunately he is ok! Right after I sat down here, I got a call to say that my cousin (55 years old) passed away last night after having been sick for 18 years after a botched up back surgery. He was rendered a paraplegic back then, and has had numerous medical conditions since. (huge lawsuit that took many many years to be settled finally in their favor.) It's been a long battle, and everyone is now at peace - he and his immediate family who have only known this way of life for so long. So I ask the question that I've yet to get a solid answer to... When does the fun start?!?
