Well, Dwight went to work, so I went and took my shower and dressed...wait until you see me in the T-shirt Jimmy got me!! I'll wear it today since he will be taking me around town!

I'm going to go put on another pot of coffee, then grab a banana or apple, snap Emmy's leash on her and take that walk.

When we get back I'll jump back on here then she and I will go back out in the yard. I LOVE to be outside here!!

Also, I can't be on here right now cause the sun is hitting me in the eyeballs!!!

MERCY!!!! Emmy drug me about a half a block, and that was enough for me!! I turned around and let her drag me back!!!! LET her? I couldn't have stopped her!! It seems like she would choke herself!!

There is more humidity here or something, it is doing a number on my hair! I'm glad I had cut it short! AND I couldn't bring a spray can of hairspray on the plane, so I'll have to buy some today while I'm out with Jimmy. I'm sure if I ask very nicely he'll stop somewhere for me to get some.

I would imagine it is much more humid there for you Shirley. As for your hair, why don't you take a clue from Emmy and go "born free"? I'm sure many people there have hairstyles that are due to the humidity - I let mine go wavy when it's thick out here - no use fighting it anymore really.

Have you been able to see/identify any of Diane's bird visitors there yet?

yesterday after work I met Jimmy and Shirley at Cracker Barrel restaurant,


then Shirley and I came home .
We sat out on the patio for quite a while ,, and watched the Birds and took Pictures( To answer Lynne's Question Shirley will later today )
Shirley Got her dream cycle drink,, we talked to Cindy for a bit,, and decided because we both were exhausted lets get some sleep, It's was pretty early I think around 10:30,
Today the plan is,,,,
Go to some nursery's , plant some flowers,, I told Shirley No matter IF it rains,, I will stand there with an umbrella over her,, to insure she will get to plant some flowers while she is here
go to the grocery store.
We still plan on going to the comedy club later this evening, In the mean time during this day I'm making Pulled Pork . pea salad . and some how WE will fit in making applesauce graham cracker cake,
Tomorrow Morning More pictures . don't think we'll have time today

In case you wonder what Jimmy and I did yesterday......
He took me on a tour of the slums of Dallas...

Then he took me to the prison....

Then in downtown Dallas he tried to make me get out of the car!!!

Can you believe it??!!!!

AND the traffic was jam packed! At least two or three accidents!...

OH...and one of his birds kept wanting to poop on my head!!!

That's how my day went with Jimmy!!!!

Well lets get everything right Shirley. I picked her up at Diane's house ask if she wanted lunch she said no she just ate a cheese sandwich. Took her to Dallas to see the Kennedy memorial, Dealey Plaza the Texas school book Depository the old red court house. I tried to find a place to park Shirley said she didn't want to get out so we went on. It was not my fault I-35 was blocked due to wrecks and had to go a back road to get there in so passed Lew Starrett (Dallas County jail). So when she wouldn't get out I drove over the spot Pres.. Kennedy was killed and even showed her the fence where a mystery shooter was reported to be seen Even showed her the grassy knoll where Elvis shot Kennedy from lol.
Then at her request took her by the by the Gardner Denver buildings which was the opening scene in the Dallas TV show. Took her so see the Dallas Cowboys headquarters and their practice field that blew down a couple of weeks ago. Then we came to my house where she got to see the Sugar Gliders even pet the nose of one and talk to my birds as well as hold the baby Quaker. Poor Bratbird thinks she don't like him as she wouldn't let him sit on her head (he only poops if he needs to. Watch me hand feed the baby see my 5 dogs. Then after I changed shirts went to meet Diane at Cracker Barrel for dinner. When we ordered h our food she said she was starving after refusing to eat lunch and I had just picked up fresh road kill
She wouldn't even look at my etchings.

Back from the Nursery,,
We got vinca's. dble petaled begonia, and more.
Then went to Home Depot, walmart,, a popcorn store that had so many different flavors of Popcorn. We ended up getting a small bag of Dill pickle flavor,, and a small bag of Key lime pie flavor.
Then we went to Walmart,, and got some groceries, and a couple of shirts.
We decided to plant tomorrow morning,, because it really is better to plant flowers in the early morning rather than the heat of the day and right now it's hot and humid out.
Diane has the pork in the crock pot and should be done before we go to the comedy club tonight.
And Cindy I did get a baby at the nursery and it already had little bitty bloomers on it Her name is Crystal and I'm Keeping her I'm not bringing her to KY,, I already have a babysitter,matter of fact I'll have many babysitters
We still haven't loaded many pictures But we plan to sometime today or evening.

Well Jimmy, first I'll explain about 'wouldn't get out'.

He couldn't find a parking place so I asked what was inside the walls and he said "just some flat plaques laid on the ground." I said, "Is that all?! No statue or some object, making a memorial?!" When he said no, that's all, I said well don't worry with trying to find a parking place just for that then!! So, we went on.

And for not "looking at your etchings", I doubt if anyone else knows what you're talking about...and you didn't ask, anyway. The only reason I understand what you meant is because we're both older than dirt!!!

Actually we had a good time and I really enjoyed myself. I laughed a lot!! Jimmy is a very funny man.

Well I'm older than the hills and I know what he meant!

I can't get enough of walking around the yard, looking at every pot, plant and decoration!!! Usually each time I will spot something I hadn't noticed before.

Diane has a really nice house...I even have my own bedroom and my own computer!!

Here is my little Baby Crystal I brought home from the nursery. She's no bigger than a seed packet and loaded with blooms!! Oh...it is a Christmas Cactus!!
