Shirley Why not move if you hate your place?///  Sorry Dodge, I never did get around to answering this!  It's very hard to move when you live on a S.S. income of below poverty level...I guess I'd rather spend what money I can save (plus that STIMULAS check) to travel. I love to travel. But when I can't get away and am stuck 'here'....I cry a lot! Really! It's horribly depressing. And although I laugh a lot, and like to cut-up and joke around, that isn't what I'm doing here in this place, when I'm not on the forum or on the phone with someone close. I do have my wonderful plants that make me happy, though, and if I didn't have Diane and Cindy, the two closest people in the world to me, I would probably already have been chucked off somewhere....even worse!!!  But...this is getting off this topic in a depressing way. But I wanted to answer you and not let you think I ignored the question Soooooo.....you know that song.."Girls just wanta have fun".....that's me!!

Sheri, my son lives in Rocky Mount, which is a little bit S.E. of Roanoke? It is a little tiny town like I love, and the neighborhoods are pretty to take walks in. I have been there two Christmases in a row. My flight to TX is a direct flight, which I appreciate. Hey, notice my signature line........

Ok now back to the trip to Texas ..........Hope you 4 have a dandy time.
It is a brighter side of life..........I have a brothe in law in texas.. Houston.
Hubbys brother, we dont tour the hot states......But we been out west 9 times , by car.........Hd likes farm country.. Glad you like to travel. We do also.

And Shirley, my sister lives in Roanoke. Maybe that's why I love to read Fantasy books!!  That's where the airplane flys in at, and then my son or DIL has to drive up there and pick me up.

Too short a trip to be served a meal....but I could get me a drink! I'll try to take a picture from the plane!  Great idea Shirley.. Get one from the plane leaving and landind..LOL

Thats wonderful.. Let hope shirley doesnt get too excited and forgets to snap..lol Yesterday just as a huge blimp went across , I lost my camera. I had put it on the back of the 4 wheeler and went to the Mail box 2 times before I knew it was missing. Hd found it , it slid down in a corner on the 4 wheeler.. Oh my gosh was I glad. That camera follows me daily..LOL
