Hi,

Although there is a lot of green (evergreen) in my garden, I can't wait for spring. My daughter and I have just started a new hobby: painting. I have never painted before, so the first results are rather embarrissing :(
My daughter Lisa actually started to paint her dreams, when she suffered nightmares. In the painting she then changed the nightmare and gave it a more positive ending. Works great. She is also a much more talented artist than I am :)

Whell, the brushes (and my daughter) are waiting...

hi Flower_warrier wavy Glad you joined us grin

Painting together is a cool thing to do and has proven to be therapeutic too. I'm happy to hear your daughter transformed her dreams to a good ending thru painting,, thumbup

does sound so cool, my daughter loves to paint and draw. She's much better than I am at it too. She also loves to dig in the dirt with me. She got her own seeds this year my mom gave her some for her birthday and I made her an apron to put them in like I wear.

I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once.

Have you guys ever look through or read any of the FAMILY FUN magazines? They are really great and chock full of fun arts and crafts and things to do with children. I don't even have any small kids or Grand kids but I subscribe to the magazine and the kids in the neighborhood really enjoy it when I share some of the great ideas with them.

My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.
