have had a mexican sage for the last two growing seasons and last year i cut it back before we had a freeze. this year i haven't cut it back yet and we have had several freezes. my question is should i let it be or go ahead and cut it back? i live south of atlanta...
I'm in zone 7 and I leave mine alone until the following spring because it isn't reliably hardy for me and they overwinter better if left standing. Being south of Atlanta you may not have to worry too much about hardiness, though.
