My brothers ex girlfriend buys Avon off me, well Mark delivered some Avon to her house for me and she gave him 2 big boxes of yarn for me! grin Some is brand new. And it's enough for a scarf or trim on an afghan....just not enough for an afghan alone. Still it's nice stuff a lot of it. Merino Wool some of it and not just the cheap acrylics that I always buy. thumbup Made me think of Lynne when I opened it all up! clap

There is a lot in each box, you just can't tell too well from the pictures.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

I was excited as I usually only buy that cheap brand of yarn from Walmart. I can do all kinds of stuff with these bits of yarn! thumbup

I've only ever made maybe 2 of them. lol But the quantities of yarn in there would be perfect for making a few scarves. thumbup Should be able to knock some out pretty quick I'd think. If I can make time. I'm doing some online schooling for a year and it's a LOT of work.

changing the subject but you did start it. What kind of school?

How about making dish cloths? I love those things.

That looks like some nice yarns Loz - great deal!

Just a little warning about the wool - lots of wools will felt when washed - my merino wool does - I buy it for that purpose, so if you are going to make scarves or something that might need to be washed you will want to forewarn the recipient if you're not keeping it for yourself. People have said that even the so called "washable wool" yarns felt sometimes so be careful.

That said... can't wait to see what you do with all those goodies!
