Can I grow chives in a container? How long does it take to germinate?What are the growing rquirements?

You can grow chives in a container. Germination from seed is relatively quick. and they are ready for some cutting and using pretty early in their growth. Then they will continue to grow more. Where you live they will grow outdoors all year and be available for you to use as well.
Enrique, try some garlic outdoors too. Just buy a clove of garlic in your grocery store an divvy it up into individual cloves and plant those. It is very inexpensive. You can cut some of those tops for an awesome taste treat too.
