If you gals (and guys) could find the time to put in a word to the big guy upstairs for Trey and I, I'd vastly appreciate it...
Sam announced to me that she wanted a divorce the day after Christmas, so it seems a custody battle is on the horizon (which is crazy since I've been with trey as the primary care giver since he was born) so I'm hoping for a "not too shaky" deal...

Diane I am so sorry to hear Jolene was promoted into Gods Kingdom over night. Prayers of comfort for Glenda and her family and you and all your family. Just know she is out of pain now and walking on clouds in heaven. Just think now she is with all her ancestors and looking down on her friends and family still confined to this level, she will be watching over all of you.

I am so sorry, but as we know, she is so much better off now than before. The sorrow is left for her loved ones here, but we know that she is happy and well where she is now. Love you.
Please continue Praying for Jayhawk'ss family,, that they are comforted now and in the future will have Peace knowing their Daughter and Sister is now fully Healed, and will watch over them ,,,

Just a big thank you to anyone who knew my Mom was going through chemo. She's done with it now, and had a big A plus on her CT scan, recently. Still one more Dr.'s appt to go, but she is optomistic.
It's been hard, my Mom is more of a kid than I am, lol! I never knew her age until this past year.. nor do I think she did!
Way to go Mom..

Lorrie, Congrats on your mother's CT scan and more prayers for the future. I hope you have it licked. Chemo and radiation are hard but the rewards can be wonderful. Prayers continue for Jayhawk (Glenda) and all of the family for the hard times they've had to be eased. John's chemo and radiation gave him much less pain which had been the goal and a bonus 5 months time with us. But things are not looking good for a lot more time now. And I am getting a little busier around here. Prayers would be appreciated.

Prayers for you and your mom, Lorena. Glad that things are getting better.
Prayers for Glenda, Diane and family....may you continue to heal.
Tina...I am saying a lot of prayers for you and your family. This must be a difficult time for all of you.
One of Tristen's great grandma's was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer over the weekend. It is in the advanced stages. The prognosis right now is 4 - 6 months. The family is going to take her to Mayo Clinic for some second opinions and to see if any treatments are available. At this point Tristen understands that she is sick but is not fully understanding it. We haven't told him all the details either. He did visit her in the hospital the other day and was a little scared after seeing the IV's and things. Prayers would be appreciated.

Thank you everyone! We are waiting to see how everything goes at the Mayo Clinic. Tristen does have a lot of good memories with her so that is good. I think it is just scary for little kids to see people hooked up to all the machines and such.

yes I am sure it is scary for hi9m--(& the grown ups too)
But if you aproach it matter of factly, and tell him all of this is waht the drs thought was best for his G Grannie.----say that althought it looks scary, it is in fact helpinfg her to be much more comfortable.---
does he understand about God??? it might be a good time to begin talking about it??--or would it be best to wait??

Yeah he does understand about God...he goes to religion every week and we talk about God often at home. I'm not sure that he knows what it means when somebody dies and goes to Heaven though. We should talk a little about that I guess so that he understands more.
Prayers for all in need. My brothers oldest daughter went to the hospital with what she though was a bad cold they said she had a silent heart attack and bottom part of her heart was dead she has only 35% of her heart working and only pumping 10% of her blood she needs. She needs prayers badly she is just a new Grandma about a month ago. Thank you all in advance.
