Here is a short 30 second or so video I made today by putting my camcorder directly UNDER my feeder. In the first part, you can hear ME babbling like an insane geezer. Then, you hear the squeaky, mouse-like, chirp of a Hummer, followed by the hum of its wings and then she comes into view briefly at the end of the video.

Preparation, preparation, and preparation. I put my camera on a tripod, Adjust the settings, and focus it on one of my feeders, BEFORE the Hummers arrive. My feeders are close together so I can quickly switch from one to another. When the hummer shows up I just have to spend half a second fine tuning, and then just start snapping away. I let my camcorder run for 30 minutes and then break up the segments that have a hummer on them and discard the LOOOONG periods with no activity.
