Loz, I loved Arizona!! Never missed anything green. My husband use to look for rocks with me too, and my kids did too!!
(I thought they were replanting after a forest fire.)...Tamara that's funny!!! Just giving my cactus a little drink. Did not want a 'lawn' put in! I liked living in the desert, and I wanted it to be kept desert.
I was asked to post this photo of me. I didn't think I should as only women have posted in these threads. My first wife took this as I was getting ready to leave on spring wheat harvest. We would combine the spring wheat in Eastern New Mexico and West Texas plains. We would harvest also in Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas,Eastern Wyoming and all the way to Canadian border this was taken in 1959 just a little over 30 years ago

Why ever did you leave Shirley? I don't think I could handle desert living without greenery.....and it looks just so hot and dry in that picture. I'd melt.
Look at you Jimmy--all handsome and young. I just love these pictures, and of course you should post them in here. This isn't just a women only type thing. I'm so glad you put it in here.
Good for you Jimmy for posting your pictures,, Yep you were once young ,, I was once young,, in a few short years even Loz will say ,, "I was once young " I'm sure you'll age as beautiful as your Mother Faye has Loz!

(I bet you had all the women chasing after you!)Loz not sure about that but did have a few pappies warn me I was on their ranch to work not to court their daughter's.
jimmy, i think you are still a good looking man! Thanks Jiffy
Diane I tend to forget until I see some of the old photo's. Thank you ladies for your very kind remarks.

Looking young is a struggle. Even at my age. I have TONS and TONS of pure white hairs. The other day mom and Mark were like, WOW Loz---color your hair. The color just doesn't grip on them good. Mom looks great for her age! I'll be lucky to look that good.
Here is a picture of Don and some friends of ours at his house in Girdwood, Alaska in 1978. For those of you who know this band, don't you think this picture looks like it belongs on a Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young album cover?!?
That's Don, second from the right! And his VW bus in the background.
I'm in red, my mother is beside me in black. a brother in law beside my mother. That's one of my nieces, Megan, in the gray, another niece, Jesse Rae, in the background her husband beside her.
