I don't remember even planting this ever....I thought it was a gladiola at first because the leaves resemble them...but today I noticed that it def. wasn't a gladiola and I'm thinking it's Crocosmia......not sure where it came from but I'm not complaining.

I thought it was, but wasn't positive. I have absolutely no clue how that got there.....One of life's mysteries.

Ha ha! Probably some bird on its way back to the nestlings.

Looks good, whatever it is.

Ohhhhhhhh lucky you!!! I have planted crocosmia twice - once from bulbs and once from an established plant and I lost them both right away. The reason I planted them was because hummingbirds are supposed to love them! I had to look far and wide to find any back then.

Your looks so healthy! Hope the hummers come visit your plant!
