This morning when I was eating breakfast out at the picnic table, I heard funny crow noises again, and turned around to see what the commotion was about. This time, there was only one crow. There was a lot a wing flapping and sounds of distress. Apparently the female was laying one of her eggs. So, as crows lay 4-5 eggs, and incubate for 18 days, I can expect baby crows about April 15-19. That's assuming she lays eggs on consecutive days.

I just went back and checked the 1st "funny sounding crow" post, and the first funny sound was one week ago today.

Thorny, do they have to "do it" for each egg, cause about an hour after the egg laying there were 2 crows "on the nest" and some more funny sounds like the first time a week ago.

Possibly. I'm not sure. If I was a crow I would want to do it for each egg!
