I think I saw that Star of Bethlehem in a floral arrangement last week. It is ever so beautiful. I guess I will have to begin a search for it.

Zone 7 to 9 perfect for my place. Junie if you find the bulbs let me know where ok? I think I like the white ones more than the orange. But as you know I love the hot colors so orange is definitely something I'd be interested it. And an early summer bloom time would be perfect. I have spring flowers but I'm short on summer and fall.

I have grown many types of ornithogalums but eventually most have died off on me. The only one that really survives the neglect and droughts and flooding rains is the O. longibracteatum, pregnant onion. I love those things. Both for their toughness and the oddity.
