This plant grows like crazy, I just keep snipping of the top and re-planting the slips...Does anyone know how tall this could really get if I left it alone? ![[Linked Image]](http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u104/tamara-carey/101_0819.jpg)

Mine is outside in the ground. It was a tiny little thing about an inch tall when I got it. It is a large shrub/small tree size now (15 years later). I try and keep it cut back about the same height as my roofline, about 12 ft. It will also grow as wide if I let it. It has grown at least to 20 foot tall before I really began cutting. They do take a lot of cutting and bounce right back. They also have invasive, ropey roots that will heave up sidewalks and are hard to plant around. My neighbor just gave me another in a 20 gallon pot. I will be tucking that into the ground soon, too.

That is weird, every shefflera I see is growing fast and is big. I got mine in november and it hasn't grown anything yet. Is their any way I can make it grow? Do I need to repot it since there are some air roots?

bobey, yours may well be root bound in there. Try repotting and feed it well.
