There we go...

The sun is shining again and the snow is still melting, we only have about 6 inches left now.

well I have already planted potatoes on st. Patrick's day in my shorts. shock but I dont think that will happen this year.

I think all I am going to plant this year is sunflowers, tomatoes, & just perhaps some potatoes.
hey, perhaps I could have DH make me a tall container so I could cover them up, let them poke thru & cover them again like I have heard can be done????

You could grow them in a five gallon bucket also.

well yes, but I was wanting to have more dirt than that. besides, Rod got rid of all but 1 of my 5 gallon buckets. well we have 2, but I have some soil from the farm in one, so he could not throw it away.

I was just thinking it would give me more garden space this year if I tried doing something like that. why

I'd love to be able to make a little mini greenhouse so I could grow tomatoes and peppers and see what it's like to have them ripen on the vine...

well any small building would do, my dad is currentky using a little building we used as a play house when small.
i was wondering if yo ucould put a few windows-(use the old ones form when you change out the ones in the house) in a corner of the barn & corden it off & use it??? unless there is not a space that could be given up to you???

and you could always put a big pot by a window in the house & grow 'maters in it???

Of course I do not mind that you were looking at my Photobucket--but may I ask "how" ????

and Bless you for all the compliments. bow kissie

about my DD, are you referring to the darker haired one??? That is Valarie.
and yes I think she does look like me too.

Sad to say that for many years, (even after I was married & had kids) I had the other DD's body shape. and here is where I ask--"what the heck happened" ?? egad lol

about picture # 10 That is my favorite as well. I want to buy it too one day--if I ever have the extra money that is. It was/is very inexpensive, in the big scheme or wigs.

Age gets us every time, Carol. There was a time I thought I would never gain weight. Partly because I ate anything and everything without. Boy, was I naive.
I never napped today so I am heading out early. I'm whooped. Good night all.

Good night Tina, sleep well & I wish you sweet dreams.

LOL!
well just time for more drops so going to go listen to tv and rest my eye again- sure will be glad when it quits feeling like I have a eyelash in there... everyday it is better though... Joe has been so good- he is doing everything- .... he has taken 3 weeks off to help out while I am doing all this...
Well back later

I did not want to take a day off. I wanted to get some energy and get some work done outside. I barely got out into the warmth and sunshine at all today.

well actually I played with Bridget the "big sister" who is 18 months old. Since I got to hold the baby last week I let Marcia have the honors today, while I played with Bridget.

But yes I DID have fun bop

And Tina, perhaps todays rest is wha your body needed, and tomorrow you will feel all new & ready to attack the outdoor work. I believe we should all listen to our bodies when they "talk".

Good morning, the sun is shining and today is a brand new day.

I was discouraged yesterday but today I feel better, DH told me to look into what it would take for us to build a little greenhouse. Something cheap but efficient. thumbup

A greenhouse up there would be nice, Tamara. Your growing season is so short.
I have outdoor working plans for my day.
