Hi everyone,

I have a old dracaena that seems to loose it's new groth. They turn kinda crispy and brown and they die. What is causing this? How can I stop this?

For many years, it was in my basement beside a heating element and a printer. So now I've decided to bring it up stairs to give it more light. Could this help the new groth not to die?

Yup, your plant might just need some indirect light. Leave it dry out before watering. I'd just cut off the dying growth.

I have my dracaena in the corner to the right of my west facing glass sliding doors. It seems to be doing well. During the summer I move it a bit more towards the east so it gets more light.
as a side note, I also have the UV film on my glass doors.

Thanks for the help!! I moved it already. It seems to be doing a little better.
