plants 'n pots plants 'n pots Purl One Garden Helper Registered: 11/12/03 Posts: 29060 Loc: Rockland County, NY	I finally had a chance to take some pictures this afternoon when we had a lull in the snowstorm that began yesterday morning around 7 and continued until this evening. We will still get some snow, but not like the past 2 days. "Won't you come and sit a spell with me?" "Oh the weather outside is frightful" but ohhhhhh-so-beautiful! more next post... _________________________ .....................

plants 'n pots plants 'n pots Purl One Garden Helper Registered: 11/12/03 Posts: 29060 Loc: Rockland County, NY	Our pond "winterized!" Snow that has been plowed to the bottom of the driveway! Snow that was plowed from across the street onto OUR side of the road!!! This picture doesn't do justice to how high this hill actually is! That is not our house - it's our neighbors - ours is the same style. Tree down in our neighbor's yard. Neighbor on the other side has a larger one down too! We got lucky this time! _________________________ .....................

Yup, it's looking good out there, everything is well covered. Well, I've seen more snow in a winter than I'm sure any of you will ever see....remember these from a few years ago..(maybe someone thought I needed a break this year). Feb2/2008 then a big storm hit and you couldn't see my house anymore..Feb18/2008 I'll take some pics today but can only post then in a few days, I have to wait for my GB upgrade to install my Kodak software. _________________________ ~Waiting on our first grandbaby August 9/2010~

This picture I shared elsewhere a week or so ago...NO, it's not me!! I just helped make it. The next two pictures are what confronted me today when I opened the door!! After almost all the snow was gone and lots of sunny days!! I hadn't a clue what was going on outside My son assures me that it is probably winter's final gasp here. He already has blulbs coming up in his garden!! These two pictures are across the street from me. _________________________ "I Love Virginia!"
