We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?

Well I hope it is hot, I could use some.

beef cutlets are a fancy way of saying someone pounded some round steak into what looks like hamburger shapes. It is a cheap cut of meat that is bit more tender that way,

Yes!

You see, I have been out of coffee grinds since Sunday and I finally bought some this morning, so the coffee is definitely fresh and hot!

We don't call them "beef cutlets" here, Tam. But I've misplaced the word in my head for what we DO call them! lol

Here a cutlet is an expensive cut of meat. It is the center portion with all the fat & bone trimmed away, so it is also smaller in size than the average cut.

Yes, no coffee was bad.

Yesterday I baked bread...all different shapes. The day before I baked chocolate brownies with lots of walnuts so I wouldn't eat any.

sounds good, Tamara--
Thanks, Merme.

I need to get my Mixer so I can actually do some baking-but then there ARE recipes that do not require a mixer, I guess-----

I like things made w/ a mixer too, Carol. Yes, you are going to have to replace yours soon.

Remember the old non-electric hand mixers? How in the world did we ever bake anything really good?!

Yup, lots.

I have many quick recipes for things you can make in under 5 minutes...no mixer required.

Good morning. I am home with a cold. I am still working outdoors while the sun shines but I have plenty of tissues with me.

ya know the kind of thing that you push & it picks up dirt--it has places on the bottom to hold the dirt--that opne so yo can clean it out??

\I have 2 Bissels, one is old & a good one, My MIL got it qith her Bissell vacuum back in the day. but is pretty much shot.

1 i s newerone & cheaper but does not work as well. My mom found it in one of those small catalogs that come in the mail.

the rechargable is called a 'swivel sweeper' and was part of Rod's aunt's 'estate'.

It has 2 rechargable battery packs but one does not work. I cannot figure out how to remove the batteries in it to replace them---I see no way, perhaps there is none. why
