Two weird things happened to me today. I decided to share this with you.

The first one was that a few months ago I decided to start a streptocarpus with a leaf cutting. But, one day I hit it with my hand and the leaf broke off. The only thing left was the base of the leaf in the soil. So, I decided to still keep. Now today I decided to trash it. But before,(I have a hard time to throw plants in the garbage) I decided to dig a little in the soil and I discovered a leaf!!!!!!! Now i only hope it will survive.

The second weird thing was that I found a cactus seed that germinated in one of my plants! Now I've put it in a pot but the stem is broken in half. Let's hope it survives.

You are right: you did have a weird gardening day! But hopefully all will work out ok anyway!

You might want to ask Bill to move this thread to Gardener's Chat.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.
