dodge dodge Hot Rod Garden Helper Registered: 10/06/05 Posts: 17566 Loc: Rural - Western Pennsylvania	Here is what my yard looks like right now . We just blowed it out an it is another foot under that.. It is storming like crazy. Hope you can see it .. We are supposed to get either 1-3 inches or 3-6 inches tonight into tomorrow morning before it's supposed to turn to rain. Seems they cannot make up their minds. I hope it's next to nothing - I need to go out tomorrow and run some errands! _________________________ .....................

I just talked him into buying it the week before the bad storm. He is thanking me no. I had the hand blower about 4 years an never had to use it till last winter. Not a pretty picture in winter. The christmas trees we planted on the lane help millions. But the yard is the bad hill an a problem this year. We should plant a wind break also but then I can't see the horse pasture from my house if I did that. The guy at work tells him to buy me a snow shovel with a pink hanlde--]well he can buy it , but I ain't in any shape to shovel either-- _________________________ .............................. We even had a wood burning hot water stove to heat the farm house with.. Rod & my dad cut 14 heaping pick-up loads of wood each year to use in the stove. he & I both loaded up the stove (fed the fires) and removed ashes from it, all fall, winter & spring. it is just that him working in a car plant was not kind to his body & for me having all of those operations on top of osteoporosis has not been kind to MY body. But it's been 30 years since I've lived like that so I might not really like it. I have a friend who lives in town and can walk to a restaurant or to a store.
