it means you only have 2 gb of use and that includes downloads and each and every page you load racks up a bit too .....i have verizon wireless broadband and i have 5 gb of use so an easy conversion is as follows 1024 kb to 1 mb and 1024 mb to 1 gb .....i dont know what type of connection program you use to sign on to the net with but under the tool section there should be a usage tab i would click on it daily and keep up with what you use or just call your provider and ask they should be able to tell you ....because you do not want to pay for any kind of an overage ...it is very expensive .....

I should be o.k. then ...I don't download music or videos...I just surf here and a few other places. Thanks for explaining this to me....extra GB's are $5 a GB.

I don't have a usage tab under Tools.

Tamara-- I hope you are worryiong for nothing here.

I have the lowest kind of DSL that my server offers.
I have 3 MBPS and that is: is an abbreviation for megabits per second. It refers to data transfer speeds as measured in megabits.
I have never been charged an overage, and I do as I please.
....I am thinking you have more than I do, so there should be no cause to worry.

James what say you ???

........1 Megabyte = 1048576 Bytes
........1 Gigabyte = 1073741824 Bytes

so you have 1073741824...........................I have: 3145728 Bytes total
............ + 1073741824.......................so you have NO problems, right
...............2147483648 Bytes

long story short, I have 0.00293 of 1 GB in my DSL and yo uhave 2 GB---you are OK for sure
