Last year I bought some minature plastic bags and stored my seed in them over the winter? Now I'm hearing that paper is better than plastic. What's the scoop on this one? Hope I didn't kill my seed?

If there is any moisture at all in those seeds it can condense in the bag and cause the seeds to mildew or mold. If it has ruined the seed you will be able to tell by looking though. Open up those little bags and allow some dry air to get in once in a while. Or add some of that silica gel stuff if you can.

I have stored all my seeds in plastic snack-sized bags for years and years and have never had a problem. I just make sure the seeds are totally dried out before I close the bag. I've had seeds that have been viable this way for several years after I bag them.
