They are little sweeties and are nice to have in your yard. They like suet a lot, and BABY Downy's will ALMOST let you pick them up they are so tame. Nice Shot. I wonder where her mate is. For years, but not this one, I have often seen 1 or 2 male Downy Woodpeckers in my yard. They always liked my hummingbird feeder.--that is the time of year I usually saw them. _________________________ ..............................
