HERES MY WHITE CACTUS IN BLOOM TODAY..IS THIS CHRISTMAS, THANKSGIVING, OR SOMETHING IN BETWEEN?

THE AMARYLLIS WAS MY GIFT FROM SON /FMY FOR CHRISTMAS.
AMERICAN RED LION AMARYLLIS.

SURE IS VIVID.

YOur welcome..

I save about 4 bulbs from last year, amarylis .......none came back.

bummer . However this made up for it .
Notice it still has one bud on each plant to open yet. I was going to wait, with the photo, but thought it might fade till the last on came.

My amaryllis bloomed 2 years in a row. this year it is green healthy & VERY tall but no blooms--none. In the past, I had like 4-5 blooms at 1 time.

I tried hard one year to do the right thing to get blooms.
None worked.

So I dont know a thing.LOL

ok--I think in the spring I will plant this outdoors if it lives well then good--if not well then too bad---next winter I will buy myself a new one for the house.

mine bloomed at christmas and then died down so i gave it just a little of the liquid azelea fertilizer i was giving my citrus trees to force them to blossom and mine in 48 days has grew about a foot from nothing and has buds again ......it may bloom a sec time .....

That amarilys is beautiful
me and my girlfriend planted one but it doesn't look anywhere near as vibrant as that...
any tips?
