I got 2 of these in their dry state, and want to know if I can keep them alive for good in a pot indoors in soil, or possibly plant the other outside in the garden. In winter for New York it can get as cold as -5 F but usually only 10-15F average at it's coldest with snow.

How often would I water it indoors, and does it need a lot of sun?
