These both look a little like elephant food plants to me(Portulacaria afra). Particularly the second. But I could be wrong and it could be some type of crassula or sedum. I just can't tell for sure.

the first one is severely etoliated! it needs much more sun than it's been getting. should look more like a rosette in it's growth pattern!!

not sure if it's a crassula or an echeveria or a graptopetalum or a cross. needs MUCH more sun, though, to grow properly!!

the second one looks like a crassula. could possibly be p. afra - their stems are usually more woody, though.

Thanks for the help.

Joclyn, The first one, that's how it looked when I got it. It gets half a days sun and it still grows that way. I don't know how it can get any more sun.

if you don't have a window that is west-facing (best and strongest light), add a grow light above/next to it. you can get the bulbs in incandescent version, now, so can use any old lamp.
