You gave me seeds from the clematis on top of the humming bird house back in September ,, of course I planted them but, I don't remember what color or the name you said it was,, I have white already and This isn't what I already have established,, Is this from your seeds?? :grin : I love this it looks like huge snow flakes in 96 degree heat Your clematis were no longer in bloom so I have no reference to go by,, I just can't remember what you said they were ,,,,,, too many Dream Cycles consumed probably
This is the white one I already had/have candida Clematis,,

ahh the wonderful world of genetics it may be a sport (not sure if it's the word...like how some roses will throw a flower of a different colour, size, petal count, etc.)
Helping the world one seed at a time
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
I have looked and looked to see what kind it is,, I used to have a site that showed many differents ones on all color categories,, but it;s no longer in my bookmarks for some reason,,, does anyone have any idea what kind of clematis this is?? ( First Post of thread,)

I had to ball my fingers up to keep from posting to this, until some time past.

I love getting surprises like this. I noticed yesterday that several bulbs have been ungrounded after the rains we had the other night. Now I know why once in a while I have a daffodil or tulip popping up in the middle of the grass.
And I think we all know why sunflowers pop up everywhere!!! (thank you birdies)
this has been the year for unusual blooms in my yard,,,,,,,,, this clematis I believe is a jack mandi but the petals didn't fully develop
there are three blooms like this the petals are like the first one I posted at the beginning of this thread,, but these three are yellow and literately glow
