i don't know what this is, other than it seems fungal in nature. the plant was cheap enough, now i have to figure out what to do for it.

i'm guessing it has something to do with the care it got before i got it.

I think I would start with a cheap fix of baking soda, Jiffy. Mixed with water and sprayed or painted on. Or just get a 2 liter club soda. If it doesn't fix it, it won't hurt it and is good for fungal stuff. It is cheap too.

PS. Have someone else spray it for you if you're putting it into a trigger sprayer. Save your hands.
