Hello everyone

Can anyone please help me identify these flowers?

http://picasaweb.google.com/Hafizah287/FlowersNeedingIdentification

Photos #14 to #27

#14 and #15 are the same. #14 is a close-up on the flower. I believe this is a type of begonia. Does anyone know what species it is precisely?

#16 and #17: the same.

I think #22 and #23 are Peace Lilies, but I'm not very certain. Does #23 have a more specific name since it's pink in colour?

Any suggestions and help are truly appreciated!

Very nice flowers!

Here's what I think they are...

#14-15 definitely a begonia - sorry don't know which one

#19 - looks like a petunia?

#20 - dahlia

#21 - dianthus, otherwise know as sweet william

#22-23 - yes a peace lily and the name of the pinkish one escapes me right now but I have one!

#24-26 - zinnias

#27 - plumbago

Nur, #22 & 23 are not peace lilies, they are anthuriums. a very similar plant in looks but anthuriums are thicker and have a much different root system. i think anthuriums are more like orchids than peace lilies in their behaviors.

Oh? They're anthuriums? Oh I see.. Thanks, Jiffymouse! =) Do you happen to know it's botanical name, or common name?

I'm still quite uncertain as to what #1 really is, buzylady. However, many have suggested that it's begonia -- although they were unsure themselves. Well, I do think that it's begonia, though I still have to do some more online research to find out.

nur, anthurium is the proper name. the only common name i know is "little boy plant" because of the resemblance never mind.

I'm thinking these:

2. Blood Lily (Scadoxus multiflorus) Fam. Amaryllidaceae

3. some kind of Clitoria? Fam. Fabacea

9, 10, 11. Yellow Cymbidium orchid Fam. Orchidacea

Thanks for the help, Kenny! =) You're right for 9, 10 and 11.

About #3, I'm not so sure. It's a type of weed actually, more like the flower of a kind of grass. And about #2, I don't think it's in the lily family, as this one grows on trees. Thanks anyway for the suggestions, Kenny! =D
