This female House Sparrow seems unusually FAT to me for some reason. I just CAN'T figure out why.

What a great shot, Thorny. Your surgery is going to be enjoyed by all of us, I can tell.

That little sparrow probably thinks she has died & gone to "birdie heaven".

I agree with Tina---your surgery is going to be enjoyed by us all.

REALLY GOOD!, Dodge. You caught the hint of a gleem in the Finches eye. That is what REALLY adds UMPH! to any bird photo. The experts tell me to center the focus on the eye whenever possible. Doing that makes the rest of the bird stand out. GREAT WORK!

I tweaked your Goldfinch in Photoshop so that youcould see a little more detail. Here ya go!

how come your finch looks like it has blue on it? Does it really? Mine are black and yellow.

Thorn, how rude to call that bird fat.

The blue was an artifact of Photoshop where I tweaked Dodge's photo. The blue SHOULD be black.

You must be a worry wart.......

MY bird looks black and yellow .. The eye pops out more .
The feeder has a blue tint , and the background at the bottom has bluish tint.

Leave your computer alone....... have a LCD moniter and it may appear different on here...
Mercy.

I just want one of those pretty blue and yellow birds like you have. It's not fair.

Thorn runs away and hides, ashamed about his bad tweaking and his rude behavior in trying to tweak such a good photo in the first plce.

If you want a pretty blue and yellow bird, try getting a picture of a Blue-Winged Warbler next Spring during Spring Migration. It's a REALLY neat bird. Google one up..
