It's going to get into my flower bed, so I'm trying to control it. If I would have planted it in a ditch or something it would of been great but I planted right into my flower beds That being said...I do love your foilage plants. The goutweed is my neighbour's in between our two houses there's a path about 6', then his patch of goutweed on one side, and my side garden on the other. Do you want any creeping charlie? It's taking over literally half the yard...I'll be more than glad to dig you as much as you want and send you some... He used to rant about creeping charlie - just hated it! He'd be horrified to know that I cultivated such things at goutweed - ha ha! _________________________ When sorting seeds, do not whistle.

Joclyn Joclyn Deep Purple Dream Gardener Registered: 07/18/05 Posts: 2212 Loc: philly	jiffy, DO NOT plant the creeping charlie outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in your warmer temp area, it'll take over in absolutely no time! and you can't get rid of it once it's there... i didn't know it was so invasive & hard to get rid of and let it grow around the base of the tree in the back...i wanted to make a bed there and since it was easy to pull up, i just let it go so i wouldn't have to deal with pulling grass up. BIG mistake! it's all through the yard now...even grew through/under the mortar of the garage wall and was growing inside the garage. do not, do not, DO NOT plant it in your yard!!! _________________________ zone 6b
