That had better count tamara-----If it does not--I am in a world of hurt--I vote intention/desire counts---big time.

Definitely it counts. Otherwise this year would be almost a total loss for me. And I wouldn't want that. Plans count double lol.

Note to self. Don't go trying to weed a garden that is severely overgrown with weeds on a full stomach. I'm taking a break for now but I think I managed to get at least halfway done with the weeding I had left to do.

Ouchie on the tummy Cheryl.

Well, today I had intentions and the desire...just no strength to do anything, and Carol says that counts

Well I went over to a friends who is also moving and not taking her dinningroom table with her so I snagged it for my potting table. It's really to good for that purpose but no reason to let it go to the dump.

Today I dig up the flowers that are in the front containers. And that is going to use up the rest of the pots I have.

Tomorrow is the pack out. So today I've been cleaning all of my tupperware drawers so they are ready to go.

Crossing my fingers that all of my flowers make it and like the new place.

Last night DH hoed up my veggie garden space for me....he says he'll be glad when I get my surgery release. He doesn't like digging around the garden

So another big thing checked off my to-do list.

Fingers crossed for you Tammy.

Thanks Tamara.

I did manage to get out to harbor tool on monday. They have the greatest Memorial Day sales. I got the jewlery screwdriver set and a wood carving set and the bill was under 10.00. I love that place. I'm going to miss it after I move.

Tamara, the day lilies or the asian or a combination of both? It's the asians that have a short bloom life right? I'm still trying to learn new things.

I am determinted that I will have a four season garden. How I'm going to pull if off with very little money I don't know but that is the goal.

I think I've stopped planning for a little while because I really need to get there and walk around. See if I'm right about how much sun the different areas are getting.

I still have loads of stuff for sun and I'd really like to keep some of it.

And I want the veggie garden all pretty much in one place but not by the road. That might be too tempting come harvest time. So I'm having to rethink things.

well, I didn't actually do this my family did--but it got done--so it counts---

As I could not do the work---I asked the 4 kids to make my flower bed bigger for my mother's day gift--we finally got together today.

Chris has the shorts on---Rod has the straw hat on--and JJ is in the teal with the sunglasses on.--that is Emily in the orange

the 'done' bed is 4 feet wide and 14 feet long.-- below are more pictures

Thanks Criket, so very much-----and no they did not get Too dirty did they???---However it might be because they got smart in the end--they each got their DH's to dig out the holes for the flowers they were planting---smart ladies---

BTW--Em also fixed up my pavers that were out of line in my landscaping in the back of the house.--so she actually did MORE for me than Valarie.--not that i am keeping track.

We are in 'town' (pop 1000)--but where my house is at used to be a field--so there are not a whole lot of people around me, and each home that is near me sites on about 1/2 acre each.

WOW Carol - you got a VERY nice mother's day gift from your kids and their spouses!!! Your property looks so nice, and it's so green, and neat!!!

The new flowerbed is very nice, and I'm sure you will get a lot of enjoyment from the plants once they settle in and grow and flower for you!
