melcon6 melcon6 WildRedRidingHood Dream Gardener Registered: 09/13/02 Posts: 4741 Loc: Coastal Maine	I want to introduce praying mantis into the yard. I have the right habitat for them and everything they would require, but from what I have read you can't really attract them to come, it's all chance. Either you get them or you don't. Or you can order the eggs online or from a catalog. What I would like to know is if anyone here has ever ordered mantis eggs and who you ordered them from ??? I would like to order some from a reputable company. Thanks. _________________________

cricket cricket Dream Gardener Registered: 04/03/08 Posts: 1340 Loc: Texas	I don't know where to get praying manthis, but I just wanted to say I think Its SO cool you want to invite them into your yard!!! as you i'm sure are aware they are a mighty hunter. (as well as pretty cool looking). they can surely eat up a LOT of 'bad' bugs around your garden and plants. Let us know how that turns out. (I'm a bug person) _________________________ Cricket
