Today I recieved a parcel from our loving Diane. The parcel had been opened at customs, although they never opened anything besides the box itself. Hoping there was no note, because I couldn't find one lol

You can just tell how loving Diane is just by the way each item is wrapped and packed...kinda too pretty to open, if you know what I mean. Oh but I did open them.....and I cried.

Diane, you are truly an angel, how you can take the time and money to buy and give to those whom you may never meet just leaves me speechless. Words could never express what you've done for me.

I'll post what was in as the pics upload to Kodak...you'll have to wait in suspence for a bit now lol

...and this is what was in the box.

Pretty flowers on each wrapped gift. Flip-flops that say 'Just Married' on the soles....I'll take some pics of the snow prints they'll make after the wedding lol

Cute little embellishments for an album or scrapbook(too cute), and melting wax with a "M" monogrammed stamper~ which I will definately use...you can't find anything like that around here.

A package of tissue with the cutest printing(very sweet), I'll keep them in DH's pocket on our big day.

And after all that, I opened a long narrow box and pulled out the most beautiful item I have ever seen. A silver marriage certificate holder. I then turned it over to see that it had been personalized with our names and the wedding date....and I cried.

Diane, you will never know how that touched me. It will be one of my most treasured gifts ever. We live in an area where you'd never find such an item. I don't know how I'll ever be able to re-pay you for your kindness. kissie
Gee, I'm crying again lol

What wonderfully thoughtful gifts!
Diane surely knows how to make a friend feel special with her carefully thought out gifts.

The marriage certificate holder is beautiful, and what a nice engraving job too!
And the sealing wax - great fun! I've always liked that since I was a teen. And those flip-flops - never saw any like that before - too cute!

Well, it's o.k., I really don't like to travel far anyway lol

I had a funny feeling there was a note or such...damn customs. They could at least take the time to put things back, I'm surprised they never opened everything.

kissie Diane, you don't need to send another card, you've done more than you could ever imagine. DH was amazed at the gifts, he kept saying "Why would a stranger send you such nice things?", she's not a stranger I told him. She's a part of my family on Bill and Cindy's gardening forum....our gardening angel. He's still confused. haha

He is slowly learning of you all, I was surprised the day when I was crying over the fact I had no one to be my Maid of honour and he said, to bad that Loz girl is so far away lol

Thanks again Diane. kissie

Thanks for the kind words from everyone as well kissie

tamara: tell him to go and speak to the Canadian Border Authorities. haha

but you know---I don't remember if I posted this or was just thinking it, but I suppose it is possible that after opening up your "Wedding Card" they felt so bad they left the gifts alone & threw away the "evidence" of what they had done---do ya think it could of been that way???

*the "evidence" would be the opened card*

Not sure, I'm surprised they never opened the rest as well.
