A Gardeners Forum Forums General Discussion Plant pests and problems Hydrangea Paniculata? Disease?

I have had this Hydrangea for about 8 years and it has always been hardy and pest/disease free.
This year however, I've noticed after pruning, 2 of the woody stalks are leaking a watery substance.
It drips from one branch to the next and into the ground. It has been leaking like a dripping faucet for about 5 days now, The foliage and the plant looks healthy. Do I have a disease going ? I don't see any bugs or worms at the problem sites. Anyone ever seen this?
