Is it too early for me to tell if I've lost it forever? I don't see any new growth coming up there yet and I read somewhere that it's a tender perennial and our unsual spring snow and cold weather may have been too much for it. This was my favorite plant and I don't know that I'd get lucky enough to find it again to replace it.

Chocolate cosmos is one of those plants that needs warm soil to sart growing, so it's usually one of the later perennials to come up, so don't despair!
