I bought morning glory seeds for my daughter and it says to either nick the seed with a sharp knife or soak it over night prior to starting it. Which is better or does it even matter? Thanks!

The idea is to help the seed break through it's own tough coat. It doesn't matter. But I personally find soaking easier. I have a tough time dealing with one seed at a time and nicking or filing them.

Ok, yeah, soaking would be easier than doing each seed individually.. I guess I wasn't really thinking.. go figure.
