my daughter, Ginger, has a big pond in her back yard. She also has 6 baby geese and a mom and dad. She says the babies are eating her newly planted grass down to the root - not the parents, just the babies. Is there a way to stop them?
Perhaps a good roast goose recipe would stop them. Otherwise there's nothing you could or should do. The geese will leave fairly soon and the grass should recover nicely.

sheri, the good thing about thorn's nuttiness is that he has a grain of truth in it. the grass should recover fine and the goose poop will be good for it.
Mmmm, mmmm! * Smack* *smack*. I can't believe this roast goose sandwich has stayed fresh for TWO weeks now. And the fresh grass seed adds a tasty crunch to it, TOO!

There may be another solution. She told me today that father goose was having a fit, the babies were in the water, 4 or 5 snakes were also in the water. The babies got out. This time.
