Hi,
This is my first post and it's snowing outside while I'm scheming on my gardens.
Right now I have 23 baby chicks chirping away in the basement, trying hard to grow enough to survive outside and in their renovation in progress chicken coop. This is a new thing, but it sounds like fun.
I've got 40 acres in NW Wisconsin, an old farm with a trout stream meandering through the front yard. Deer abound and bear and wolves aren't uncommon.
Last years vegetable garden was way too successful, so this year I'm going to cut way back on things I can neither consume or store. Summer squash, pumpkins, cantalope, to name a few. In starting earlier this year, I hope to get some peas and good salad greens. I also want to put in a kitchen/herb garden up the hill and next to the house. Also, lots of perenniels.
No questions at this time, but I'm not shy about asking:)
