Yesterday I walked outside and a little baby squirrel jumped out of the sunflower seed bag, up onto the grill table. I talked real nice to him and he started coming closer...

A few more soft words to him and he decided he was interested in getting a little closer...

I got some sunflower seeds out of the bag and we made friends REAL fast!

He is much cuter than the ground squirrels we have around here, Cindy.

Thank you...
It was delivered from my brother and sister in law when I was in the hospital.
I can't wait to get it planted.

The squirrels in Centennial Park and Vanderbilt University here in Nashville are just like that, too, Cindy. They will even sit on your lap and eat from your hand.

It thrills me so much to see you out doing things like this, Cindy. I too, was praying for you. You have never seen so many people coming to gather for ONE person like people on this forum have come together for you, Cindy. I will tell some of my Cardinals to move out there and keep you company, Cindy.

That's the cutest little squirrel---how cool that you got so close and were feeding it!

That's the thing about this forum, we all pull together when prayer and support is needed for someone.....We really are a family unit.

Your right Thorn.
Not only does Cindy charm people she charmed the squirrel.

That was so cute of you .. Ours are much too wild for that too.
Love your flower also......

I told one of my Cardinals to go visit with Cindy a few weeks ago.

When we were at CH I couldn't believe how many squirrels were running around all over the place.

I made a friend with a little chipmunk yesterday...same place where the squirrel was the day before. But, I had gone out without my camera and didn't get a picture of him. I'm sure by the time I am able to go outside more I will be able to hold them.

You are very welcome, Dodge.
Even though I had Bill mail them just a few days ago I don't even remember it.
He told me today that you thanked me for them in a post, and I said "Did I mail those?"
It will be nice when my memory comes back all the way.

Surely they wouldn't bite me...they love me.

The squirrels that sit on my lap and eat from my hand are amazingly sweet, but if you try to pat them they become Satanic, and try to take plugs out of you. You have to let THEM do the patting and touching while you just sit there.

Thanks Thorny, for that advise to Cindy!!!

She would probably try to kiss one and it would me all up in her face!!!
She'd have a squirrel hanging from her nose!!!
Like she hangs vacuum cleaners from her hair!!!

No problem CIndy.................I can remember it all an so will everyone else . DO not worry if you do not remember...............
Till you work out all the medicines they put into your body then you will become whole again.........You have to be cleansed internally.

Like a spray wash..

Keep on chugging Cindy........Were still on prayer..

Bill told me they would bite...but I thought maybe he just didn't want me to be making friends with all the critters here and it end up like Ellie Mae in the Beverly Hillbillies. Guess he wasn't kidding.

I'm just gonna make a suggestion here.....don't try to touch the squirrels or chipmunks! Remember how bad the gerbils could bite? Just imagine how bad a squirrel or chipmunk would bite.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PLAYING WITH BEARS EITHER.. EVEN THE DEER CAN BE RADICAL...ONE DAY I MEET MAMA BEAR AN 2 CUBS ON THE HIGHWAY. FORTUNALTELY I WAS RIDING MY BIKE AT THE TIME.......PS.....I BROKE A SPEED RECORD GOING HOME THAT DAY.....NEVER RODE SINCE.. WASNT FUNNY.
