tbaleno tbaleno Member Registered: 04/20/08 Posts: 2 Loc: Central MA	I just started a hydroponic garden in my basement in January (I couldn't wait the 4 months or so to plant vegetables outdoors in my area.) Today I planted a few carrots outside (I don't know if it is too early but seeds are cheap.) I joined the forum to learn more about gardening as I don't really have a clue about what I'm doing. In fact, when I picked some seed at the store I didn't bother to look, so when I got home I found the plant from these seeds might grow to 15'. Surprise! I guess next time I should look for little details like that. I joined the site to read others experiences and to get ideas on what to do and how to do it. Edited by tbaleno (04/20/08 05:45 PM)

I've been wondering about the hydroponics myself. since I've joined this site I have been inspired by the folks that grow tomatos...in places like canada...in December! hadn't even heard of heated grow pads till I joined this site. I'd like to hear more on your hydropoics. does the water have to be running...like a fountain...heated...??? _________________________ Cricket
