I am interested in starting a veggie garden but I would like to grow them in pots. What containers should i use? Are there veggies that I can't grow in a container? Which veggies grow best in containers?
I've grown roma tomatos in 25 gallon buckets, and cherry tomatoes, banana pepper, butter lettuce and broccoli all in 10 - 25 gallon buckets , just make sure there is drainage. I'm sure if you post this in the Veggi threads there are others that have grown container veggies that would have really good advise for you,, I found I had to water more often then if it were in ground tho, and terra cotta pots absorb the water faster than plastic pots.

Patio Tomatoes grow excellent in 5 gallon pots. I'm trying new potatoes for the first time this year in about a 5 gallon pot. Don't know what I'll end up getting, but what a beautiful plant!
