I have 10 strawberry roots that I bought at walmart.. I have never done strawberries before and I don't know anyone who has... so I am pretty much on my own.. other than you guys! I tried googling to find some info, but came up short.. maybe I am not googling the right key words.
If anyone could please direct me to a good site, that will lay it all out for me.. from the beginning, I would appreciate it.. UNLESS of course, someone here would like to help me along.
Thanks!

Ok, I have the Quinault variety, which are everbearing.
I just copied this from the link Bill gave me, but I am not sure I understand what it means..
Everbearers should not be allowed to produce runners until the mother plant is exhausted, and you wish to create plants for future use. The plants need to be set carefully. The crown must be above the soil level, and the uppermost roots should be 1/4 inch below the soil level.
Help?

Hmm.. Ok.. well I can't see the roots right now.. they are still in the bag of dirt.
I am glad you say they are easy, because I am easily intimidated. I am excited though.. now I just have to find a place to plant them!
