I have this recipe for Fruit Pizza, it is the best recipe I have ever made. It is real pretty and taste as good as it looks.

I did not have the oranges when I made this one but it tasted just as good. I made one yesterday and all I had were strawberries and grapes and blueberries to put on the top. It was yummy too. I guess you could use about any fruit you wanted to top it with.

Be sure that you drain the pineapple real well or the crust will get soggy. Also, let the glaze get room temp or close to it so that it won't run all over the place. I just drizzle over all the fruit and the top of the pizza.

1 roll Pillsbury sugar cookies, sliced and placed in pizza pan.
Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Let cool.
Spread over crust:
1 large can of crushed pineapple, drained. (save 1 cup of juice)
3 bananas, sliced

Mix
1 (12 oz) container Cool Whip
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Mix and spread over bananas.
Place the following evenly on the pizza:
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1 container fresh strawberries, sliced
3 kiwi, sliced

Glaze:
1 cup pinapple juice
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch or flour
Cook over low heat until thick; let cool. Spread over pizza.
Chill and serve.

That does look like it would make a fun dessert. I believe you can safely just leave off any of the fruit types that you can't handle, or don't have on hand except maybe the pineapple. Even that could be substituted with canned peaches or something. I believe each of the fruits could be subbed for something else.

Annell : your fruit pizza does look yummy--
I especaially like the idea of the glaze.---

here is an idea for next time:
roll out the cookie crust into a circle like you would pie dough, I proceed: I have a recipe that says to do the crust that way.
