My mom told me to take out some very young seedlings outside for sunlight. That'll kill them! She doesn't want any lights on during the daytime. What a cheapskate. What should I do??? why

set them in a window, with light like open a window and put it in the lights path but not to where it's hot. I did that with my seedlings and they were fine!
I had them on the kitchen table because their is a huge window there. and i just moved them when needed, or you can harden off the seeds early, start off by setting them in the shade for a few days a couple hours a day and let them get used to that (bring them in at nihgt) then switch it up to partial shade for a few days remembering to bring them in at night and then you can go to sun, just a few hours a day bring them in at night them you can prolly move to just letting them stay in full sun... but make sure the circulation is good i spray mines with fungicide from schultz anyways everytime i watter them which reminds me i have to do that...

pleaseee... Betty Crocker aint got nothing on me =)

good advice scott. i'd only add one thing. if there is a fan that you can sit them in the path of, it will help them develop good strong roots.
