emdeGardener2 emdeGardener2 Great Gardener Registered: 02/22/08 Posts: 942 Loc: Merced County,California	Greetings from the Central Valley. Yesterday, a big storm came through with lots of rain. My garden has good drainage, but if it gets more than a half inch of rain in an hour or less, it floods. My heart sank when I checked on my garden. My pea seedlings were under two inches of water. I dug a ditch to drain the water. I saved them from drowning. _________________________ Growing a vegetable garden is worth it!

The plants are such a success that I'm growing them from now on from fall-mid spring. _________________________ Growing a vegetable garden is worth it!
