Greetings from the Central Valley. Yesterday, a big storm came through with lots of rain. My garden has good drainage, but if it gets more than a half inch of rain in an hour or less, it floods. My heart sank when I checked on my garden. My pea seedlings were under two inches of water. I dug a ditch to drain the water. I saved them from drowning.

I have been there, done that...

I had ditches all over my yard in Kentucky when it rained a lot.

I found more developing pods today! The first pea pod is getting noticeably bigger each day! More flowers are developing and blooming!
