Buglady Buglady Gardener Registered: 01/27/04 Posts: 444 Loc: PA	I will be lecturing at the Philadelphia Flower Show March 3rd at 5:30 pm. My talk is free with admission to the show. I will be talking about insects in the garden and how to control the organically. I will also be volunteering at the PA Hort plant information booth if you have any questions. I wonder if this would be considered a tax deductible trip if The Garden Helper paid for it!) (I could bring back some of those yummy Philly subs.....) Problem is... the hotels jack up the prices so much for that week that it just is not affordable! One of these years... Cindy hoagies. they're called hoagies. subs are from somewhere else. and they just don't even compare to hoagies!! lynne, stay at a hotel that is outside of the city as it'll be cheaper - in nj there are nice hotels in mt laurel, moorestown and cherry hill and all just a hop; skip & a jump over the bridge to philly (about 20 minutes). you could also stay in plymouth meeting or king of prussia in pa - either would be 20-30 minutes into the city (depending on traffic). book now for a better rate! edit: just remembered. there used to be a promotion called something like 'sleepover in philly' where you got discounted rates. i don't know if they're still doing it - if they are, you could get that discount at any hotel in the city as well as those in the towns i mentioned. well, maybe not the nj hotels. i know that the hotels near me were part of the promotion. worth checking it out! the philly flower show is really something to see!! _________________________ zone 6b

Whatever they are called (my late husband was from Philly and he called them 'subs')..... ...they are the best in the world. The best crab cakes I ever ate were in Philly, too.
