Well, I am so envious of all of you who can get such great close photos of birds. I tried to get a couple yesterday evening but not very good. First is an evening dove and the second was a precious little chick-a-dee that was singing the most lovely song.

and this last picture is a black bird that hung around my yard all last summer. At first I thought that she had picked up one of my ducks feathers and just stuck it in her tail for decoration but I discovered that the white tail feather was actually hers.

Your last picture is a Grackle, a leucistic (Partially Albino) one. That single white feather is the partially albino part of this bird.. Nice Dove Silhouette.

Thanks Thorn for clarifying the type of bird. I just hope that she comes back this year. She had gotten pretty well accustom to me when I was out side and would allow me to get relatively close to watch her. And I hope that she still has her white feather.
I still wish that I had a camera that could zoom in close enough to get great photos like you guys have been posting here.

That close zoom only works if the bird is 30 feet or LESS away.
