My surgery is done. I'm fine. Thanks for the Prayers, folks.
The pictures you submit MUST be taken during the event ONLY. No pre or post event pictures will be accepted by the sponsoring organization. All digital cameras store the date and time each picture is taken invisibly on the picture. I thought you could submit ANY bird picture you had taken during the year so submitted some and was informed they could not be accepted.

Friday after work I went to see my grand children and while we were playing outside we saw some birds and I told them about the bird count. They live on a farm and we went for a walk and counted birds and turned them into the count. I didn't think anything else about it and yesterday when I got home I had a email from her saying:
2/16/08
9:11 saw 1 robin
9:18 saw 1 wren
9:18 saw 2 more robins
and she went on counting the birds she had seen.
She's such a cool girl.

She ought to submit her sightings to the GBBC. They love for children to get interested and make reports.
